Answering a query on the split up between the company’s share of domestic market and exports, in terms of business, Malligarjunan stated: “In terms of business, our domestic market share is 65% with the remaining 35% of our products being exported worldwide. We cater to export markets in South East Asia, the Middle East, South America, Europe and Africa. We strongly believe that Africa is an emerging market with great potential for the future.”

Industry 4.0 was the big theme at ITMA 2019. Automation and digitisation have become increasingly important in recent times. Speaking about the innovations and developments at Tex Tech in this direction, he remarked: “Automation and digitisation have become increasingly important in the spinning mills and garment manufacturing industry. We recognise this trend and are actively developing retrofit kits to help automate the spinning process, keeping up with the times.”
