Testa Group completes 50 years of global innovation

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of the ‘Testa’ brand, a world leader in the production of inspection, cutting and packing machines, both in textile and technical articles’ sectors. ITMA Barcelona was an opportunity to show the latest version of Super Testa Rossa, able to cut and pack up to 100,000 metres of fabric per day. The great advantage of this machine is not so much the high speed or the ability to drastically reduce the number of operators involved, but the optimisation process that increases the number of ‘first choice’ cuts, reducing waste and the quantity of ‘second choice’. Traditional inspection gives way to automation. The Super Testa Rossa embodies the paradigm of the changing world, a world in which there is less and less time and automation plays a fundamental role in guaranteeing a result. Every second spent, every person involved, every metre of fabric has a value. “It is time to optimise starting from the processes, with the support and the ideas of our designers as expert as the tailors of the tradition because one of the most common mistakes is to think that what you did yesterday will be fine tomorrow,” the press release adds.
