Memnun Machine is in the business of designing and manufacturing high pressure and atmospheric jiggers for dyeing and raising, sueding and emerising machines since 1979. It has established itself as a dependable and reliable machinery supplier globally. The Gaurs, which is already representing several leading textile machinery manufacturers, represents the company in the Indian and Sri Lankan markets. “We have our own research and development facilities and are continuously innovating, always looking to produce better products, become more efficient and stay fresh by working with young, dynamic, intelligent and well-educated personnel,” says Kemal Memnun, Managing Director, Memnum Machine.

He highlights three key technologies that offer their products an edge over other competing products. These include:

• Servo Control: Memnun Machine uses torque servo motors as they are more sensitive and provide constant speed by keeping constant tension. Torque servo motors arrest the colour differences between two sides of the fabric and reduce the back face variations.
• PLC Control: This helps reach higher working speed with PLC which has very quick cycle time, storage of a virtually unlimited number of dyeing programs, 12,1” TFT colour display 800 x 600 pixels and 0-50 degrees Celsius (32-122 degrees Fahrenheit) ambient temperature.
• Fabric Edge Control System: Moving cylinder (right-left) helps to keep the fabric edges from curling during loading.

India: A Key Market

The company has been selling machines in India since 2015. Some of its key customer installations include GM Syntex for jigger machines, Soktas for sueding machines and Sharayu Synthetics for sueding machines. Memnun Machine has been working with The Gaurs since 2021. “We studied the working of The Gaurs and liked their style and way. Their working matches with that of Memnun Machine and we decided to work with The Gaurs for the Indian and Sri Lankan markets,” Kemal says. As regards the primary factor that would drive demand for Memnun Machine in India as well as other global markets, Kemal states, “We feel we offer great value to our customers for our machines as compared to the competitors.”

“Turkish machines are comparable with any European brand with regard to their rugged design, in-built quality and repetitiveness of results over the long term. Besides, Memnun Machine is known for its after-sales services and The Gaurs are a technical organisation. Above all, Memnun Machine offers products at a very competitive price,” he adds. In fact, after-sales service support is another forte of the company. Elaborating on the subject, Kemal says, “Sustainable service is the motto of Memnun Machine which means our business doesn’t end after selling the product. We give service to our customers as long as they need it. Our goal is to make our customers and business associates happy. We have remote diagnosis services in place which are available to our customers. Above all, as mentioned earlier, The Gaurs are a technical organisation and we have seen their commitment to serve their customers.”

The Way Ahead

Sharing details about the future plans of Memnun Machine as regards the launch of new machines, Kemal Memnun points out: “First of all, our factory has one of the rare research and development centres. We continue to develop machines with our project engineers. We have produced a new generation HT jigger and atmospheric jigger machine with servo torque motors. We have eliminated the possibility of operator mistakes. There is other important machine from our rotary screen engraving department and also one effect machine for knit fabrics in the pipeline.”
